As someone who doesn’t really have any brand loyalty, I love trying out new products from different companies. With that being said, I’ve really been looking into different companies and brands that specialize in natural bath products. Through a little research, I came across a company that is now local to me that goes by the name Anasa Naturals. They are based in Colorado, but you too can get your hands on Anasa Naturals since they ship nationally in the US.

Anasa Naturals is an online bath and body company that specializes in creating natural and safe body care products that are all centered around a bakery theme. Chef Diedra Rae, the owner, has taken her expertise as a pastry chef and transformed it into beautifully crafted bath products. Anasa Naturals makes an assortment of products for your spa day like body butter and souffles, cupcake bath bombs, and soapsicles. The products are also affordable considering that they are handmade and made with natural ingredients. Most products are in the $5-$15 price range.

I love the bakery-inspired concept, and I think it’s executed very well from the design of the products and the packaging to the names and the scents that are used. Another element that I appreciate is the vibrant and colorful nature of the products. You can’t help but want to taste the sugar scrubs even though you have to hold yourself back from doing so. The shipping was also pretty quick too. It took about 3 business days between placing the order and the delivery. Opening the package, your nose is immediately hugged by sweet scents. It was also a nice surprise to see a nice note from Chef Diedra as well as a few samples for a sugar scrub and body butter. Then there were the products.

The Products

Butter Ball Handmade Soap

Anasa Naturals

Ingredients: Love, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxide and/or Mica, Fragrance and/or Essential Oils and Other Natural Ingredients.

$5

The Butter Ball from Anasa Naturals has got to be my favorite bar soap that I have tried. That’s a lot coming from someone who prefers liquid body soap. The smell is light with a hint of honey for a little extra sweetness. I enjoyed the scent because it’s not overpowering but it’s also not fleeting so you can still smell it afterward. Butter Ball not only leaves you smelling good, but it also makes your skin feel nice and soft. The only downside and this is with any bar soap, is that it disappears a bit too quickly.

Lemongrass + Mint Handmade Soap

Anasa Naturals

Ingredients: Love, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxide and/or Mica, Fragrance and/or Essential Oils and Other Natural Ingredients.

This was the first product I tried out of the three I purchased. It was my first choice mainly due to the color. While the Butter Ball Soap had a creamier texture, the Lemongrass + Mint Handmade Soap felt similar to a scrub in bar form. I enjoyed the freshness that came from the lemongrass and mint. It’s another great combination of scents that add enough flair to your daily routine without taking over. I did find that it left a squeaky clean feeling after use. That is one of the main reasons why I prefer Butter Ball to this one.

Paradise Passion Gelato

Anasa Naturals
Paradise Passion Gelato – $15

The Gelato was the one that I was the most excited to try. It was described as whipped soap that scrubs, exfoliates, and cleans all at once. I was new to whipped soaps, so I was interested to see how the soap scrub would react when mixed with water and if it would foam up. Let me tell you something, it did! It’s a little messy due to the sugar crystals but it’s an amazing product that makes your skin feel moisturized. The gelato was the most fragrant of the 3 products. You can smell the pomegranate, passion fruit, and guava even after leaving the bathroom. I loved it! Plus the packaging is amazing considering that the container is modeled after a 16-ounce ice cream pint.

I can 100% say that I truly enjoyed trying out some of the products from Anasa Naturals. These products have worked their way into my rotation of bath products that I do like to use. I’m also happy to say that Anasa Naturals is the first to be included in a new series here on Style Exploration called Check Out Their Style. Check Out Their Style is my version of a product review and spotlight. I hope you all enjoyed the review and enjoy Chef Rae’s products just as much as I have!
