Fall is here! It is time to follow the lead of the beautiful trees and switch out of that summer attire into some warm and cozy fall/autumn essentials. Personally, I never really had a fall specific wardrobe. I would wear my closet all year round, no matter if it was winter or spring, but I’ve recently moved to a city that actually has 4 seasons, so I get to participate in the fun fuzziness of thick coats and fluffy sweaters. Well to fair, I alsways participated, especially with the sweaters, but now I get to do fall fashion for real.
There’s a lot that can go into getting one’s fall wardrobe together, especially if you moved somewhere where the cold appears a lot quicker. That is why I am here to help, so don’t worry, I got your back with the ultimate checklist for all of your fall fashion must-haves.
1. Sweaters

You can never go wrong with a fuzzy, furry sweater. They provide comfort, warmth and they come in a variety of fun colors and textures.
2. Scarves

Hey, you can’t have your neck out here freezing, can you? A cute scarf can provide a nice pop of color to your fall outfit
3. Boots

Knee-high, thigh-high, ankle, you know what, it doesn’t hurt to have one of each. Different occasions call for different boots
4. Sweatsuits
We all need that one outfit that looks like we put a lot of thought into, but it was really a quick decision. Sweatsuits are the perfect choice for when you need something that’s cute but quick to put together.
5. Tights

Tights are one piece of clothing that I have been loving recently. You can be traditional with a solid pair of black tights or step out on the wild side in some gold polka dots.
6. Faux Fur Jackets

Faux fur jackets are a classic fall fashion item. You’ll have no problem finding the one that fits uniquely to your style since they come in a variety of colors and textures.
7. Jumpsuits

Jumpsuits are one of my favorite fashion items in general, so its no wonder its included on the list.
8. All The Jewel-Toned Clothing Your Heart Desires

You got your emeralds, you got your rubies, you got your ambers, take your pick because there are always great choices to choose from when it comes to jewel tones for the fall season.
9. Plaid Pants

Plaid is a very common pattern when it comes to fall fashion, but lets switch it up a bit from the normal plaid pleated skirts to fun plaid pants.
10. Natural Tones

Caramel, oatmeal, beige, olive, camel, these natural tones or earth tones can go with any outfit.
11. Long-Sleeved Mide Dresses

The long sleeve midi dress screams fall as it is one piece that can be too hot for the summer and too cold for the winter. That’s why this piece provides the perfect balance for fall.
12. Patterned Socks
I am a huge fan of socks, especially patterned socks. You mioght not be able to see them depending on the shoes you wear, but its all in the details.
13. Gold Accessories

From jewelry to headbands, gold accessories provide a nice touch of warmth and luxury to any ensemble.
14. Paint Your Nails Like a Leaf

Nail polish in colors such as burnt orange, burgundy and violet can give you all the autumn vibes you’re looking for.
15. Corduroy

Corduroy is a classic pattern that looks good in all fall colors.
16. Wide Brim Hats

Wide brim hats are the perfect fall accessory that can be dressed up or down.
17. Vegan Leather Purse

Any fall outfit wouldn’t be complete without an amazing vegan leather bag to carry all your essentials.
